No Nonsense Volume Controls

Overview: Very few Pachislos have volume controls that will lower volume enough for normal home use.  Therefore, after market volume controls can be added to reduce the machine volume to a tolerable level.  There are several vendors selling volume controls that will perform this function.  I am providing the do-it-yourselfer an inexpensive solution to this problem.  These controls may not be elegant, but  they are definitely a bargain and perform well. 

Installation:  One volume control is required for each speaker.  Unplug machine from power source.  Cut one of the wires going to each of the speakers (doesn’t matter which one).  Strip back insulation on the two cut ends and solder the volume control to the ends as shown.  Turn on machine and adjust volume as desired.  (Be careful not to let bare connections touch any other part of the machine.)  Once volume is adjusted, wrap with electrical tape to prevent connections shorting out to frame.
